Includes a comprehensive book list to support increased student identity development, confidence, and engagement. The list is a strong starting point for independent reading or interactive read alouds in the classroom and at home. Serves students in grades kindergarten through three, focusing on reflecting student histories, realities, and opportunities to learn about themselves and their peers.
Once Upon A Summer -Read Your World Summer 2020 Curriculum (Third Grade)
A summer curriculum plan that models high level literacy work, encourages higher order conversations, and provides extension activities. Sub themes include culture, community, diversity and difference, and social justice activism.

To combat the challenges of remote learning, ATAPE Group has compiled a list of books available on the EPIC platform to deliver rigorous and culturally relevant literacy instruction remotely. Book titles are organized by genre, F&P level, and audio/visual support.
